The SEE Broadband is the first international conference and trade expo covering the broadband deployment in Southeastern European (SEE) countries and their geo-strategic neighbors, primarily focusing on Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia and Turkey and will also extend it’s reach to the surrounding countries having a very strong economic interest in the SEE region: Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine.

The SEE Broadband brings technology closer to the users in SEE through the educational sessions, conference program and exhibition where the world leading vendors can present their technology, products and solutions, and key players in the SEE economies can present their broadband deployment status and plans as well as the regulatory framework. The SEE market is attractive to incumbent vendors as well as increasing number of new vendors focusing on emerging markets of Eurasia region.

The SEE Broadband has regional character gathering key SEE industry players: regional operators, providers, channel partners, investors and regulators. The Conference will address the specifics of SEE deployment status and channel out the key information to the users, infrastructure builders and service providers, allowing them to make educated choices among many alternatives for broadband solutions. In addition, the outsourcing opportunities in SEE region will be covered not only from the perspective of cost advantages but also as a way for the established broadband equipment vendors to build closer relationship with future customers in this emerging market.

The SEE Broadband first Conference and expo is scheduled to be held from 10-14 April 2006 in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro. The program will start with two day tutorial sessions covering key broadband technologies, followed by three day Conference sessions in parallel tracks with techno marketing presentations about the technology potentials and development status, services and business models. One Conference track will include presentations from the representatives or regional operators and regulative agencies about the broadband deployment status and experiences. The program will also include keynote presentations and panel discussions covering the most relevant topics of broadband deployment in SEE region. The three day expo exhibition will provide a unique opportunity for the product and solution vendors to present their companies and meet the prospective customers.
